My Story

4+ Years Of Experience in Food Blogging Business

Here is how it all started

I discovered food blogging by accident. One day during the worldwide pandemic lockdown in 2020, I found myself extremely bored. I am someone who wants to be doing something all the time, in that moment I needed something to occupy myself with. So I turned to Food which had been my favourite thing since I was a kid.

My mom tells me I have been cooking since I was 8. I remember using the money meant for buying food to buy ingredients and make food for myself and my younger brother when my mom was away. Back in Uni, I was the go-to person for recipe ideas and events catering for my friends even though at that time, I never thought of making it a career.

My plan was to make food videos just until the lockdown ban had been lifted so that I could go back to what I was doing which was the School ( Degree in Publishing studies) and fashion at that time. I started by creating simple recipe videos with ingredients from my mom’s kitchen for the recipes and posting them on my Whatsapp status. The first video I ever made was a pineapple juice.

Hi, I am Bibiana, a Ghanaian food blogger, food blogging coach, and influencer. I’m passionate about cooking and exploring new flavors and cuisines from Ghana and the African continent.

I started Cheflifestyle to share my love of Ghanaian food with the world and to inspire people to get in the kitchen and cook delicious, healthy meals at home. My recipes are easy to follow,  quick, and make use of basic ingredients you can easily find at home. Whether you are starting your cooking journey, looking to polish up your cooking, or are a seasoned cook, there is something for everyone.

As a passionate lover of food and Ghanaian culture, I travel to different parts of the country, to bring you cuisines, techniques, recipes and stories about food and culture. My goal is to promote Ghanaian culture through food.

I am passionate about food and developing people and I am happy and grateful to be living in my purpose everyday.

The other side of me

When I’m not in the kitchen, I love to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines. I believe that food is a universal language that brings people together, and I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to connect with others through food. I am especially interested in exploring other African countries to discover their cuisines, and find similarities, and differences as well as areas for fusion. I also love to read, listen to music and write.

Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you find inspiration and joy in my recipes as well as get the inspiration and resources you need to start your own journey. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
